This painting is my rendition of what an abstract painting is— chaos and the innate quality of being misunderstood.
What looks like child’s play, is anything but.
The innocence of the dog balloon contrasts greatly against the havoc unraveling in the background. Moulded, pressure-laden, and fragile. In the midst of it all, it stands rigid and rooted, despite sharing the same hues as its world. It’s meant to blend in, destined to be one with the world, fated to burst, but it does not.
There’s a quiet defiance embedded in loyalty. A well-entrenched trait of a dog. It is, after all, a dog
